Happiness is Homemade

Someone has said something very profound. Every happy family is the same as the other, but every unhappy family is completely different from another. Looking at our families today, no one can tell if we are genuinely happy or unhappy because we are skilled at lying and holding facades. It is our superpower. We can hide anything, we can even make facts disappear. As they say, ignorance is bliss and acting blur is diamond.

We premiumize what we have done for the other, while discounting what the other has done for us. People measure everything in dollars and cents. While there is definitely a place for dollars and cents and that is the market place. We should not confuse it with family as then we bring the marketplace into our homes. Now you would ask but what is a family? How do we define a family? This definition has been expanded when we want something from someone and contracted when we do not want something from someone, so we decide in the moment what our need is and stretch it accordingly.

In essence, everything is time on the root level. While we have time, we can use it to barter for goods and services. Once time is up it is game over. Time is truly the real currency. Shared values is the real currency. Remembering what someone has done for you is the real currency. Love is the real currency but who even knows what love is in today's world? Since there is no one auditing, it is hard to keep track. Flawed accounting and opportunistic finance can get by, in the name of freedom, to be who we wish to be in the moment. While we are free to act, we cannot be free from the consequences of the actions. If some thought was given to intention, awareness and reflection, the situation would beg for deferment as the circle of life is round. What we sow we must reap. That is the law of nature. We should never take something from another if we cannot give them the very same thing we are asking of them.

The flaw lies in the economics of supply and demand, until there are givers without limits there will always be takers without limits. After all, the world is getting more and more opportunistic as we move through time. Mother Earth is evidence. We justify it by saying that we are doing so for our own happiness and everyone's happiness, but happiness can only be found in the truth and to accept the truth in its nakedness, is the most difficult job in this world. Perhaps, that is why being happy is one of the simplest yet one of the most difficult jobs.

The more we unveil the layers of facade, the more connected we feel to the source and to happiness because beneath it all, happiness is homemade and happiness is our birthright, just like oxygen. In fact it is not even happiness but something deeper, something aggregated, somewhat intangible but at the same time almost palpable, it's harmony and blissfulness. Like when you go under the open sky every elemental instrument is playing and not playing so effortlessly, with such precision, engineered by the divine that if you are able to tune in you can hear the symphony of the orchestra in the silence of human interference.

There is no intelligence in discounting our happiness, our harmony, our blissfulness because the patterns that emerge from the habitual discount asks for a price, and that price is not affordable because no one can bring back time that has lapsed no matter how much money we can pay. So be very careful when you hand over the remote control to your mental and emotional well being to someone else other than you. You train people on how to treat you and it is definitely not our job and way above any pay grade to tolerate any form of disrespect overflowing from the holier than though attitude of the other.

There are two types of people in the world, ones who compete against the others and ones who compete against who they were yesterday, The former is competitive and the latter is collaborative. Who you choose to be is the one who writes your destiny. Be someone who does not need or want anything from the other; what the divine can bring you, will be of the highest quality symbiotically resonating with your purest intention. While I used to agree that necessity is the mother of all inventions, I realized that beneath it all intention is ultimately the seed of all invention. We do not know who put us here. We do not know why we are put here. We do not know when we would be asked to go back home. In this short span of life, is it really necessary to be antagonistic? Why is it so hard for people to live and let live?

Wheel of Will helps you to disengage from the opinions of others because while we live in the same world each one of us experience the world in a manner unique to ourselves because it is our own electric path that provides the current for the circuit we create.
